She is committed to transparent leadership, practical solutions, and delivering real results for every family in District 3.

ISSUES

Housing Affordability

  • Cut red tape & speed up building permits. Fast-track approval for infill, mixed-use, and workforce housing so new homes come online sooner.

  • Incentivize developers to build affordable units. Use tax incentives, fee reductions, or density bonuses — rely on private development rather than expanding government housing.

  • Promote homeownership. Offer down-payment assistance — helping working and middle-class families build wealth and stay in Fresno, rather than being stuck renting forever.

Homelessness

  • Compassion with accountability. Support mandatory treatment options for addiction and mental health — and enforce camping bans only after offering help. “Help when needed, accountability when refused.”

  • Leverage faith & nonprofit partners. Expand low-cost transitional shelters via community-based organizations instead of costly government programs.

  • Encourage reintegration through work. Link shelter/aid with job-training, cleanup crews, and vocational programs — promoting responsibility, dignity, and real chances to rebuild.

Crime & Public Safety

  • More police on the streets. Hire additional officers and expand visible neighborhood patrols so communities feel safe and respond quickly.

  • Hold repeat offenders accountable. Crack down on theft, vandalism, and drug dealing — coordinate with the county DA to track and prosecute chronic offenders.

  • Invest in prevention with smart tools. Improve neighborhood safety through better street lighting, security cameras, and cleaning up blighted corridors — cost-effective steps that deter crime before it happens.
